A nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families in need when they face unexpected challenges. We provide essential items and enrichment opportunities that will positively impact their lives while promoting hope, resilience, and opportunity.

We believe small gifts can make a big difference to those in need.

How It Works

We work with schools and social service agencies in our community that identify children and families who are in need of assistance at a critical time. We work together with the social worker and family to determine the specific need, its urgency, and how we can help. A hallmark of our program is our rapid turnaround time, often days to a week, never months!

The Gifts

We help low-income families by meeting their most pressing needs, such as:

• Providing a crib for a single mother with a disability

• Funding car repairs so a family can get to school and work

• Sending a foster child to summer camp

• Supplying a refrigerator

• Purchasing prescription eyeglasses for a young child

• Providing a mattress for a teenager who had been sleeping on the floor

• Gifting a family their very first Christmas tree

• Offering a computer for community college studies

Finding a Fresh Start

In the world of nonprofits, adaptability is the name of the game. We learned this lesson swiftly when the pandemic knocked on our door mere months after our launch. While our mission centers on uplifting children and families, we couldn’t ignore the growing struggles of teachers and schools. The shift to remote education was daunting, with educators scrambling for the right tools. Recognizing their needs, we dove headfirst into action, collaborating with local schools to roll out grants for teachers navigating this brave new world.

Our unwavering commitment to support children and families stood strong throughout. We distributed Chromebooks, printers, desks, software, and essential resources—all designed to spark successful learning from home. Families facing job loss and income reductions received much-needed supplies through our thoughtful gifting program. The overwhelming support from our community was both surprising and transformative. Together, we created ripples of change in the lives of many.
